Comments on the Meeting:
Perhaps it is the rain as some members can’t make it which may in turn affect the melancholic mood. The meeting geared up as the TOM and the GE of the evening injected humor. This lightens up the atmosphere. The first speech by CC Rina was about her funny experience as a child. She gave a light hearted story about how her grandmother raised chickens that correspond to each family member. Too bad the chicken attacked the grandmother and ended up on the dinner plate. Moral of the story was not to attack Rina’s grandmother!?

Next speaker was TM Billy who gave a speech on an interesting topic about the relationship between personality traits and blood types. The speech was informative and entertaining although the scientific aspect of it is still debated.

The third speaker was TM Jessica who gave an informative speech on canned food. All who were present learned about how to choose and store canned food as recommended by WHO.

The final speaker was CC Niken who poked fun at those addicted Blacberry users, - Crackberries. She gave a useful tip to the crackberries on putting their Blackberries in a zip-lock bag when they shower. Another way for the crackberries to have their best friend (Blackberry) with them at all times. Unfortunately, her evaluator was a Blackberry user. We wonder what comments he put in her speech manual.

The TOM had a good point as he mentioned that story telling would make someone remember what you wanted to communicate. Indeed the power of a story lies in the fact that it can spur someone to action or remember an emotional moment.
